Breakfast

For breakfast you can help yourself to the buffet bar, which consists of cereals, pastries, yoghurt and fruit.

You can also order a cooked breakfast, choosing from sausage, bacon, black pudding, tomato, mushroom, baked beans and egg.

Or the lighter option of smoked salmon & scrambled egg may take your fancy.

If you have any specific dietary requirements, please let us know when booking.

Evening Meals

We offer a home cooked, hearty meal each evening, which would allow you to relax at Forest Lodge after a day exploring the Highlands. Meals are priced at £19 per person for a main course and dessert. If you would like to take advantage of this service, please let us know no later than 24hours prior to check-in. There is only one 'dish of the day', but there will always be meals to cater for all dietary requirements that we have been informed about at the time of booking. Dinner is served at 6pm. We do not have a licence to serve/sell alcohol, but feel free to bring your own to enjoy with dinner.

Currently there are 2 other options for evening meals in South Laggan apart from dining in at Forest Lodge, these are:

• The Farmhouse Kitchen (at the Great Glen Hostel) booking in advance is necessary
• The Eagle Barge (at Laggan Lock) booking is required if table dining is wanted, but bar meals are available without booking.
  (We are happy to provide transport to either establishment but would appreciate a contribution towards fuel.)
